ABBA Tribute

On Friday 23rd August (August bank holiday) step back in time to the golden era of pop music with an electrifying ABBA tribute night hosted at The Greenhead Hotel. Prepare to be transported to the 1970s as we celebrate the iconic Swedish quartet's timeless hits and infectious energy. With glittering costumes, spot-on vocal harmonies, and irresistible dance beats, guests are guaranteed a night of pure nostalgia and non-stop entertainment. Hosted in our function room enjoy the night with friends while you sing along to chart-toppers like "Dancing Queen" and "Mamma Mia." Whether you're a die-hard ABBA fan or simply looking for a fun-filled evening, join us for a celebration that will have you dancing all night and reliving the magic of ABBA's greatest hits.

*Choose to include transport from Hexham, Haydon Bridge, Bardon Mill or Haltwhistle for an extra £5
*Sausage sandwiches available to soak up some alcohol
*70s disco from 7.30pm - midnight with 2 sets from ‘Swede Dreamz’
*Fancy dress (70s theme) is optional. Prize for the best dressed!!

Wreath Making Workshop
Saturday 30th November
Join us on Saturday 30rth Nocember 2024 at 11am for our first wreath making workshop at the Greenhead Hotel with Lucy, from Walltown Flowers.
​
Whether you are a beginner to wreath making or you've been making your own wreath for years. Lucy will be able to help you create the perfect wreath this Christmas.
To get everyone in the Christmas spirit (if you aren't already. of course), we will begin the morning with a glass of mulled wine and stop for a light lunch including soup, sandwich and brownie.

This event has been very popular so far, therefore there are limited places available!

Christmas Party Nights
Own or work for a small, local business? Always struggle to find somewhere for a 'proper' Christmas party with work colleagues or friends?

On Friday 6th & Saturday 7th December we are hosting a Christmas party in our function room where businesses or groups of people can book a table or two for their group.
​
Includes, transportation there & back from many places between Hexham & Greenhead, an arrival drink, 2 course festive meal and dance the night away with music from DJ Stephen Todd who will be playing all sorts of well known party hits and Christmas bangers!

Want to make a night of it?
You can also book a room in the hotel and cure that hangover with a Greenhead breakfast! For only £99 per room (based on 2 people sharing)

Whether you're meeting up with friends for the last time this year, seeing family before the big day or just want a free from Christmas dinner preparation, we have you covered!
Looking for somewhere to host a large group? Our restaurant can be booked for up to 28 people whether you'd like a formal festive meal or a casual buffet it's the perfect intimate space. Looking for something bigger and our function suite is for you = hosting up to 120 people it's ideal to invite everyone!
